Reagan's 4D Ultrasound(30 weeks) and really GROWING!!

May 19th!! I am officially HUGE, well actually it is Reagan. We had another ultrasound today and learned that she weighs a whopping 3lbs 7ozs!! Everything went well and is still looking good. We are in the home stretch and she is going to be here before we know it! Check out some of her pics--she is already quite fond of sucking her thumb!
Reagan already has a bad habit. She is sucking her thumb. We could see her cheeks moving in and out.She looks like she is yawning in this pic.

She appears to be laughing or smiling.

Back to thumb sucking again.

Good profile pic. Looks like she has chubby cheeks.

28 weeks and GROWING!!

Friday May 8, 2009

I am 28 weeks plus a few days and that means I am offically in the 3rd trimester!! HOME STRETCH is here, although everyone says this is the longest trimester!! I had a doc appt yesterday and everything is still checking out great. Her heart rate was 141! which is perfect. We are going to the doc again in a few weeks and we are going to have a 4D ultrasound. Hopefully we will get a good look at her and also double check and make sure she is still a girl:)!! It's been awhile since we've updated and I have some pics from the beach and a couple of good shots of my expanding belly bump. It has gotten so big!! But since I am not computer savvy, I will be bugging Jed to do that part!!

March 29, 2009(23 week belly)

It is official-I am really expanding and Reagan is growing! I don't feel like I look like this-but I guess it is inevitable. She has also developed into a wiggle worm. I think she is already practicing her kicks for soccer-she is so strong. Jed was able to feel her for the first time last week. He was intrigued by how much and how strong she was kickin' and movin'. I find myself laying on the couch or in the bed with my hand on my stomach waiting for a kick or a movement. The nursery is coming along beautifully, all the furniture is up and in full function. Jed and his dad(Joe) get all the credit. They picked it up and moved it up the stairs-it is very heavy furniture. The bedding is just what I wanted and I have had her name made in wooden letters and am working on painting them and am going to hang them by ribbon. I'll post pics when done! We are back to the doctor next week and we'll let you know how things go. That will be my 24week check-up. After the appt I am headed to Knoxville for a much overdue visit and some shopping with my mom and sis.
Love, Julie, Jed, Snicks, Chance, and MO MO!

Reagan Marie Earls!!!!

Hi everybody, finally updating-we have been having some computer issues and have fallen behind. Most everybody probably heard we went Friday March 13th for the anatomy ultrasound. We saw all important anatomy except for between the legs. Dr. Cimino tried very hard to get the baby to move, unfortunately he did not have all day for the baby to cooperate! So we left knowing that everything is progressing well and development is right on target and with another appointment to come back Monday to look between the legs.
So on Monday March 16th we headed back to the office with a large Coke in hand. I drank it hoping the caffeine would get our stubborn bellybean moving. It kinda worked--still the ultrasound tech spent over 45mins with us, she moved me in everyway, poking and pleading with the baby to move. Finally SHE kicked a leg out! Yep-that's right!-IT'S A GIRL!! Getting the ultrasounds were really fun. It was so incredible to see how she has grown-it is a truly amazing miracle. We have decided on a name that we both love-Reagan Marie Earls! We can't wait to meet her and welcome her to our family. Now let the shopping extravaganza begin! Feb. 15th, 2009

It is Sunday night and I am 16 weeks along but will be 17 weeks on Tuesday! Things are moving along quickly! We went to the Doc again this past Friday and everything still looks great. We got to hear the heartbeat again and it was again the best sound we have ever heard. The heartbeat was averaging 153 which is right on target. There are old wives tells that say you can tell if it is a boy or a girl by how fast the heart beats, and it looks like our little one may be a girl if you go by that! Who knows what it is-even though my maternal instinct has been telling me girl from the beginning. I don't care either way although I have been window shopping and little girl stuff is so so so cute. Our next doctors appt is the week of march 9th(our doc is doing the ultrasound for us so I will find out the day for sure this week) and we will find out the sex and look at the rest of the baby's anatomy! I still don't really have a baby belly and have gained 2lbs at this point which is fine with me. My appetite is very huge which isn't that new for me, I've always been a big eater, Jed says I haven't changed in that department. I have been hitting the gym alot and that has helped curtail some of the weight gain since I have eaten quit a few fries and chicken wings and the exercise makes me feel great. The belly pics are in high demand(I've had some request) so when it gets bigger I will post my belly! Love to all! Julie, Jed, Snickers, Chance and Mo Mo!

Jan. 14th(12 weeks)

Things are moving along smoothly. I have still been feeling great for the most part, which is such a blessing. I have only vomited 3 times and my nausea comes and goes. I am almost done with my first trimester and today we went to the doctor and heard the heartbeat. It was averaging 158 beats per minute, which is perfect. It was the coolest sound ever. I didn't want Emily, the nurse to take the monitor off of my belly. Despite my increased appetite I haven't gained any weight yet, thank goodness. My doctor has said to exercise as much as I want since I am so active anyways so hopefully that will help. We already ordered the baby furniture and I think it will be in at the end of Jan. Jed was able to wheel and deal with the owner at the furniture store so we got a bit of a discount. We decided to spend a little extra and got convertible furniture, hopefully it will hold up nicely. It is beautiful, I can't wait to put pics up so everyone can see it!
Take Care!! Jed, Julie, Baby Earls, Chance, Snickers, and MO MO!!

Our First Ultrasound

These are two of our 1st ultrasound pics. They were done at 8weeks 2days. We got to hear the heartbeat that day which was amazing, thankfully it was loud and strong at about 170 beats a minute, which is medically right on target.

The Big Surprise in Knoxville!!

I have to admit that we knew we were pregnant for awhile before we told anyone. I can not tell you how hard it was to keep this great surprise a secret for almost a whole month. On Dec. 20 we took a trip to Knoxville to tell my parents and sister the news. It was quite possibly one of the best surprises, it was so fun telling them. Jed and I purchased Christmas ornaments of a pregnant couple and had our names put on it. They put the due date of our little one on the womens prego belly(7/09). We had my mom and dad open it, and Mel(my sis) had her own ornament to open at the same time. They caught on fast and the tears of joy filled the room. I was jumping up and down screaming goofy stuff and dishing out the details while they took it all in!! We had our first ultrasound Dec 13th so we took the DVD and they got to see it and hear the strong heartbeat of our little bellybean. We also gave them an ultrasound pic so they could show it to everyone!

Christmas Eve with Jed's Family!!

We had originally planned on telling Connie, Joe, Jacob, Jenn and Lou Ellen on Christmas Day but the excitement got the better of us. On Christmas Eve we had alot of Jed's family(uncles, aunts, cousins) over for dinner. Jacob and Jenn were with Jenn's family the majority of the night but did make it over at about 9ish. Sherree, Barry and Lucas and Phillip and Brae were still at the house and I was so glad they were a part of the surprise. For those of you who don't know Jed's family-they are really fun(except for a couple of them being Alabama fans!ha ha) We gave them the same ornament that we gave my parents and when they caught on they were so excited. Our baby will be Connie and Joe's second grandchild. Lou Ellen(our niece, Jake and Jenn's first born) will be about 15months old when our baby is born so they will be good friends and playmates. So finally telling everybody was great, I hated feeling like I was hiding something but it was worth waiting for such a great Christmas present.
